Boy o' Boy I'm the absolute worst blogger in the history of the web ... totally not fair to keep this awesome couple waiting to see these and of course I've got some more to come of other wonderful couples ... stay tuned ... here are just a couple of my faves of Cynthia and James -- enjoy!

Nancy + Miguel ... Married!

Saturday August 1, 2009 was the big day for these two childhood sweethearts ... the ceremony was held at St. Joseph Church in Santa Ana  ... then the bride and groom (and I) headed over to the Hyatt Huntington Beach for some fun and to capture some images too! Following all that we went to our final destination The Westminster Rose Center  where Terry Sweeney had the place looking absolutely gorgeous to cap off a great day  ... 

Normally there is some lag time between the engagement photos and the wedding images ... let's just say Nancy and Miguel had a lot to do to get ready for the wedding and leave it at that ... here are a few of my favorites ...

Miguel's son Isaiah, plays a huge part in their lives ... it was a touching moment when he came out to the dancefloor during the first dance for a few moments ....

When Nancy first contacted me about her wedding and told me she was getting married at the Westminster Rose Center I really wanted her to choose me to capture the day for her as I've been wanting to shoot the venue for some time now.  

Luckily she did choose me (thanks Nancy)! Now her wedding day is fast approaching and just last week we spent some time together with her man Miguel at Bowers Museum in Santa Ana.  It was a perfect location (Nancy picked it out, of course) to shoot these two high school sweethearts.  Check out some of my favorites:

Yesterday Sarah, Michael and I spent almost two hours together shooting at the Mission ... I love the variety the Mission provides for a complete session and the many different looks we can achieve.  Tomorrow I leave for a two week vacation with a wedding in the middle ... lots of flying ... which I'm really not fond of -- I wanted to leave a couple of shots behind until I get back when I can post some more ...
